These personalized paintings bring together your pets, vices, fave food, most used products, and hobbies in a kooky, colorful, maximalist style.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

To purchase a “Pets & Things” portrait, email me with what size and how many pets (if any) you’d like to feature - I currently offer up to 3 pets. I will message you a form within 24 hours to fill out, where you can provide me with details on all the things you’d like to include in your painting. You can expect to receive the finished product within 1-2 weeks.

PRICING

Small – 5×7” w/ up to 8 images, 1 Pet , or 10 images, no Pet– $75

Medium – 8×10” w/ up to 12 images, 1 Pet, or 15 images, no Pet – $115

Large – 11×14” w/ up to 16 images, 1 Pet or 20 images, no Pet – $235

$10 for each additional pet

CUSTOMIZATION GUIDELINES

Turnaround Time

A custom “Pets & Things” portrait is usually completed within 10 -14 days. Keep in mind these are all made to order by me, one person :)

Painting Style

These custom portraits are based on representations of images provided. When you submit a specific image (especially specific brands, celebrities, and people), note that it may not be a perfect rendering of them but will be more of a representation or caricature. My paintings are based on a specific style and its main focus is bringing the many ‘things’ that make up one’s life, together in a colorful and joyous manner, not making a perfect portrait of these things. That being said, I love to paint all things, but I want to be as clear as possible to help guide your list. To get a better idea of my work, check out my instagram @sarah_liken

Background Image

Please state what you would like as a background for your painting. This can be anything from an object (like a chair or coffin) to a landscape (the beach, Seattle, space) to a mix of colors. Please be as specific as possible and include pictures.

Placement/Size of Items

Pets will always be the focal point but if you would like other objects to be highlighted or the center piece, please note the item – and let me know if you have any arrangement in mind for your items. This is especially important if your painting does not include pets!

Reference Images

When submitting your list, please attach reference photos for all pets, specific objects, or persons - this is incredibly helpful as I cannot assume I know everything on your list. I can only paint as accurately as your image represents the item, so please ensure the image is well lit and includes all important details. For example, if I receive a picture of a pet that is only of the face, I will only paint the face and not the entire body.

Number of Items

Each item written down (or attached photo) of each person, animal, object etc counts as one item. If you submit a photo with multiple items, please specify.

Logos

I paint brands and logos in my pieces in a humorous/referential type of way.

Materials

Acrylic paints on wood panel. (Please note some pictures shown in the listings are 12x12 and on canvas, I have since moved all portraits to wood panel in the sizes listed)
