Custom Maximalist Pet Portraits Featuring All the Things You Love
These one-of-a-kind paintings bring together your pet’s personality with your favorite items, hobbies, and quirks in a colorful, maximalist style. Each piece is a vibrant collaboration between your vision and my brush.
The process is simple: share your pet’s story, the items and objects that bring you joy, and any ideas for the background. From there, I research, sketch, and paint a one-of-a-kind portrait that captures your pet’s essence and celebrates what makes your world uniquely yours.
Turnaround time is typically around two weeks, but as a one-person operation, I truly appreciate your patience and understanding!

Size 1 – 8×10" with up to 10 images (1 pet) – Starting at $150
Size 2 – 11×14" with up to 15 images (1 pet) – Starting at $300
Additional Pets – $25 each

Turnaround Time
Each “Maximalist Pet Portrait” is made to order, typically completed within 10–14 days. Each piece is hand-painted by me. Thank you for your patience!
Painting Style
These custom portraits are based on representations of images provided. When you submit a specific image (especially specific brands, celebrities, and people), note that it may not be a perfect rendering of them but will be more of a representation or caricature. My paintings are based on a specific style and its main focus is bringing the many ‘things’ that make up one’s life, together in a colorful and joyous manner, not making a perfect portrait of these things. That being said, I love to paint all things, but I want to be as clear as possible to help guide your list. To get a better idea of my work, check out my instagram @sarah_liken
Background Image
Specify your preferred background, from an object (like a chair or coffee mug) to a landscape (beach, cityscape, or even outer space). Be specific and attach any reference images!
Placement/Size of Items
Pets are typically the focal point, but if you’d like other items highlighted, let me know. Specific arrangement requests are also welcome.
Reference Images
When submitting your list, please attach reference photos for all pets, specific objects, or persons - this is incredibly helpful as I cannot assume I know everything on your list. I can only paint as accurately as your image represents the item, so please ensure the image is well lit and includes all important details. For example, if I receive a picture of a pet that is only of the face, I will only paint the face and not the entire body.
Number of Items
Each item written down (or attached photo) of each person, animal, object etc counts as one item. If you submit a photo with multiple items, please specify.
Logos
I paint brands and logos in my pieces in a humorous/referential type of way.
Materials
Acrylic paints on wood panel. (Please note some pictures shown in the listings are 12x12 and on canvas, I have since moved all portraits to wood panel in the sizes listed)
